Meat Loaf Even Your Children Will Eat!

6-8 servings


2 eggs

1 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp pepper

1 tsp. dry mustard

2/3 cup of finely crushed Ritz crackers (or other buttery ones)

1/2 cup onion, chopped

1/2 cup milk (I use almond milk)

1 1/2 pounds of lean ground beef 


1 cup of ketchup

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

OPT. 1 tsp. of Worcestershire Sauce


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Here comes the easy part! Put the eggs, salt, pepper, mustard, crackers, onion and milk in a large bowl and whisk until blended. Add the ground beef and use your hands to combine it well. Shape the meat mixture into a loaf in your prepared pan.


Combine the ketchup, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce (if using) and whisk until smooth and blended. Top the meatloaf with 2/3 of the sauce and reserve the other to serve with your meatloaf. Bake 60-65 minutes or until it is no longer pink.
