Honey-Garlic Glazed Dinner Rolls

13 rolls


1 3/4–2 cups bread flour

2 Tbsp. sugar

2 1/2 tsp. yeast

1/2 tsp. salt

3/4 cup water (105-115 degrees)

2 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted

3/4 cup sharp cheddar, shredded



4 tsp. unsalted butter, melted

2 tsp. honey

1/8 tsp. garlic powder

OPT.: 1 tsp. fresh herbs of your choice (I used thyme)


Combine 1 1/2 cups flour, sugar, yeast and salt. Add the water along with the 2 tbsp. melted butter. Beat 3 minutes on medium speed until smooth. Stir in the cheese and additional flour as needed to form a soft dough.


Knead dough for 4—6 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rest in a warm spot for 10 minutes. Divide dough into 13 rolls and place them in an oiled 9” round pan. Cover and let rise 30 minutes or until doubled in size. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and bake 13-14 minutes or until rolls are nicely browned. 


Combine topping ingredients and brush over the top of the warm rolls. Enjoy!
