Mozzarella Stuffed Meatballs

8 Servings


1 pound lean ground beef

1 pound hot or mild Italian sausage (I used a chicken based one)

1/2 tsp. garlic powder

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. black pepper

1 cup bread crumbs

1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

2 eggs

1/2 cup whole milk or almond milk

1/2 cup chopped parsley

1 pound Mozzarella cheese, cut into 3/4” cubes

Your favorite Marinara sauce


Combine all the ingredients, except the Mozzarella and mix well. Place approximately 

2 Tablespoons of meat mixture around each cube of Mozzarella. Brown in a large pan on all sides. Add the marinara sauce and simmer for 20 minutes until meat is cooked through.


Serve over pasta.
